Workforce Development Program Orientation

“Where do I start with my job search?”

Have you been asking yourself that question? The Mon Valley Initiative Workforce & Business Development Team can help!

Come to an Orientation Session where our staff can help you:

• Develop your resume and interview skills
• Find job leads, Career Exploration Workshops, and employer recruitment events
• Discover training and educational opportunities
• Address any criminal background issues

Orientation sessions are held on the first Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon, and on the third Wednesday of every month from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the MVI office in Homestead. You must attend an Orientation Session to obtain MVI Workforce services, including one-on-one career path exploration and assistance with an assigned Workforce Development Specialist. Don’t forget to ask our Workforce Team about our weekly Job Clubs!
