If you or someone you know is thinking about buying a home, you’ll be interested in two informational free events in March.
On March 9, Bonnie Halinka, a real estate agent with Century 21 Frontier Realty, will join Jonathan Weaver, MVI housing counselor, for the third “Homebuyer’s Club” of 2022. Bonnie will answer questions about the process of hiring a real estate agent and shopping for a home.
The Homebuyer’s Club will be held on Zoom at 6 p.m., and participants must be registered in advance to ask questions during the event. Email jweaver@monvalleyinitiative.com for a link and password. The event also will be streamed on MVI’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
In addition, Weaver will participate in a March 16 homebuying webinar sponsored by the Human Services Center Corp. in Turtle Creek. During this event, Weaver and other guests will answer questions about saving for a down payment, setting a homebuying budget, understanding how your credit score impacts the homebuying process, and planning for other expenses you may encounter.
