Mission: We are committed to improving the quality of life in East Pittsburgh by promoting responsible home ownership, fostering job opportunities, and creating a sense of community.
The East Pittsburgh Economic Development Corporation (EPEDC) is committed to revitalizing and sustaining East Pittsburgh as a livable community. EPEDC is an all volunteer organization. As a member of the Mon Valley Initiative, EPEDC takes a lead role in housing rehabilitation, home ownership opportunities, workforce development, and small business assistance.
EPEDC’s monthly meetings provide an open environment for discussing the challenges and opportunities facing our community. Together, EPEDC harnesses the energy needed for effective positive change in East Pittsburgh. Our meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at the Senior Citizen’s Center on Grandview Avenue.
EPEDC knows that people are the strength of any community. Your strength can help. Please consider joining EPEDC to help create positive change.
Membership is open to any East Pittsburgh community members with new ideas who want to share their dreams and concerns about East Pittsburgh. EPEDC invites you to become a part of this group that is working to ensure that East Pittsburgh continues to be a great place to live!
